This is what our volunteers from all walks of life do to help the homeless on the streets if Newcastle every Saturday Night and Sunday Morning.

Helping the Homeless and those in Need

Streetworx

Joanne heads up our Streetworx Teams aided by an army of volunteers. There's lots to do! From fundraising, receiving & sorting donations, preparing the drinks food and clothing to be taken out, transporting these from our base to the centre of Newcastle, and then taking them on a 2 hour walk through the streets in all weathers. Then taking everything back to the base, cleaning and restocking ready to go again. It is an awesome project and requires year round attention (people are on the streets all through the year - not just at Christmas). Please like and follow us on Facebook - click the button below: 

Streetworx -get involved

We can involve you train you and help you connection whichever areas you would feel comfortable. Some of our precious volunteers work in the 'backroom' side of things knowing the work they do has a great effect. Others prefer to be on the streets helping there. Both are vital, both are needed. You can make a difference

Coming out on the streets a Saturday night, Checking our current needs on Facebook, Donating, Coming out on the streets a Sunday morning, Fundraising Sales, Liking our Streetworx Facebook Page, Praying - prayer changes things! Helping prep and sort out the Store, being a business drop off point, coming to our fundraisers, volunteering, telling a friend about it, getting trained up,  or contacting Joanne on 07505583454 ( Text is best as Joanne works and cannot always reply immediately - we let her sleep sometimes, if she's been good!)
